When we came home Sunday night from our honeymoon and I got the mail, I was so excited to see the wedding photos already, I knew you said you’d have them but WOW! I barely settled in before I began to view them, here I am, finally viewing all the photos just now, I had to email you and say Thank You! You did an amazing job, the photos were terrific and brought us right back to our wedding day! You caught everything! So many great shots that we can cherish for the rest of our lives! I am truly amazed and cannot thank you enough! Thank you so much! The 3 of you were so much more then we could have ever wished for!
Amanda and Vincent have to be one of the most adorable couples ever. I can’t imagine any two people being more perfect together. We had a great time photographing their wedding! Here’s a little sample of their big day.
I’ll admit it. I am absolutely the worst at updating this page! So much has been going on around here and things are only going to get busier! We’ve taken on a new project doing newborn photography (see below). And we’re having a lot of fun doing it! Also, we have a busy fall wedding schedule, so keep checking back for updates!
So this is another shoot that I called as soon as I found out Steve and Kristi were having a baby! I shot their wedding back in 2007 and fell in love with little Bella as soon as I saw her!
And here we are a few years later, in their first official family photo… LOVE IT!

I just wish they lived closer than Texas!
I couldn’t wait to do this shoot for Trish and Matt! I’ve been best friends with Trish’s sister for over a decade now and these two were made for each other!
I’ve had so many requests for mother’s day sessions that i’m going to start offering by FF (friends/family) rate to everyone. After all, this is my first mother’s day and I feel like celebrating. So here’s the deal, book your 1 hour shoot anytime in April and you’ll get (1) 8×10″ print for mom and a cd of 25 images for $100. You’ll even get a photo release so Mom can print any of those images herself up to a 4×6″. We have 3 weekend days that aren’t fully booked yet, and can shoot during the week. So make sure you call and make your appointment ASAP!

When Kimmie called me the night before Valentine’s Day and told me Mark had popped the question, I could hardly believe it. Mainly because I was super sleepy. In any case, I called shooting their engagement photos right there. After postponing their shoot 3 times because of the weather, we finally got out this past weekend. It was a beautiful sunny day and we decided to go around Doylestown and definitely stop by Rita’s for some Peeps water ice. We had so much fun and it showed. I can’t wait till it gets a little warmer outside because I plan on doing another shoot with these too at the carnival.
Engagement and wedding season are gearing up and we are super excited for all of it. Here are some tips to help you find your way through these times.
1 – Getting To Know Each Other
The more comfortable you are with your photographer, the more comfortable you’ll be during your photos.
2 – Clean It Up
Have your ring cleaned before your shoot. You want that baby to sparkle.
3 – Location Location Location
When you’re trying to think of a location for your engagement photos, or working with your photographer to pick a spot, try and think of locations that have special meaning. Where did you meet? First kiss? Where did he propose? And if you can’t think of anything specific… don’t worry. We have tons of ideas!
4 – Makeup
While your photographer may bring along certain items (I bring a kit of necessary items) you might want to have a few things on hand also. Bring along rice paper or blotting tissues to take off that shine. Consider having your makeup done by a professional. Don’t try a new hairstyle for your photos. And go with something natural.
5 – Dress Appropriately
This is a big deal. You’re engaged. Family and friends cherish these photos because they are your first official photos. Bring a few different outfits. I usually recommend bringing a casual outfit of jeans and nice tops. Also, I like to have something a little dressier. Think dark dress pants, a nice dress and killer heels. Dramatic photos make a statement and everyone will remember them as striking. And NO KHAKIS! They just don’t look good in photos.
6 – Coordinate but don’t be matchy-matchy
Bringing a few extra outfits will give the photographer options. Bring outfits that compliment each other but don’t be so coordinated that it looks like your twins.
7 – Get trashed
Ever heard of trash the dress? Well how much fun would you have jumping into a pool hand in hand, walking along the beach while playing in the surf? Get dirty and show the love.
8 – Relax
This is a fun experience. It’s all about you and you should feel like a rock star. Plan your whole day – get lunch, have a glass of wine and make the day all about you. Just be yourself and it’ll show through in the photos.
9 – Drink Drink Drink
For several days before your shoot drink lots of water and cut back on salt. Keeping yourself hydrated will keep your skin beautiful for your photos.
10 – Announcements and Sharing
Do you have a wedding website? Do you need announcements, save the dates or a guest book? Talk these over with your photographer pre-shoot. We can customize photos for your needs AND many photographers have full design capabilities (we do!)
DON’T:
Wear anything super tight. It will crease and show in your photos. Spandex is a no go.
But don’t wear baggy clothing either.
Watch out for small patterns, small jewelry, logos, words, holes, wrinkly clothes and clashing colors.
Book your wedding before March 30th and get a free engagement session! Ask for details.

We’ve been so busy around here, that i’ve been neglecting the blog. But i’m back from vacation and so so excited about all the new things going on around here.
First of all, we’ll have some great new specials coming up in the next few weeks. Including a free session when you book your event. Also, we have a variety of fun photo booth options for your events now available.
And we have to say congratulations to some of our best friends, Kimmie and Mark who got engaged yesterday! YAY! Check back for their engagement photos (and there will be a lot of them!!)
